Unified-E is a software suite which consists of 3 programs:- Unified-E App Designer: Use this program to create your individual operator app- Unified-E App Manager: Use this program to publish your operator app- Unified-E app: This is the app container for one or more operator appsUnified-E is used to operate machines or plants with a smartphone.
App development time is drastically reduced by using the "Unified-E App Designer" software, where you can define both the HMI views and push notifications for your individual HMI app.No app programming knowledge is required.
The HMI app automatically runs on iOS, Android and Windows Phone smartphones.
There is a Gateway PC required which connects smartphone with machine and ensures that communication is secured and only granted for authorized users.
The "PRO" license also allows operating a machine via the Internet without performing any configuration on the firewall or router.
By now there are already multiple Unified-E endpoint adapters, e.
